Eleanor Hyde
Part 2 Architectural Assistant
After graduating in 2024, Eleanor spent twelve months at a leading Edinburgh practice, developing a solid grounding in the delivery of well-considered residential projects. During her studies, she also gained experience in larger practices working on healthcare projects, gaining a practical understanding of the construction process. A keen eye for detail and a collaborative approach underpin her interest in developing clear, well-resolved designs.Eleanor studied at the University of Bath and the University of Edinburgh. While at Edinburgh, she took part in the Radical Harvest studio, a live-build community project focused on low-carbon construction, material reuse and socially engaged design. This hands-on experience aligns closely with our own interest in practical, well-made architecture and an understanding of how design decisions translate into built form.
Outside of work, she lives an active lifestyle, taking part in triathlons and contributing to local community groups.
