Our main studio is in Edinburgh, but we also have a base in Dumfries, where I grew up. Most of my family and many of my friends still live in the area, so I’m doon hame regularly, both to see people and to work on projects across Dumfries and Galloway.A big part of our work in Dumfries has focused on contributing to the regeneration of the town centre. Like many town centres in Scotland, Dumfries has faced its share of challenges, but it also has great potential. It has a strong traditional character, some lovely old buildings and a beautiful setting on the Nith. This includes the restoration of the B-listed TB Watson building, as well as several other projects looking at how underused buildings can be brought back into residential use.
We also work with homeowners across Dumfries and Galloway on extensions, alterations and other projects that help people make more of the places they already care about.
